5 Things To Know About Our New Store

The start of May marks TWO months that we have been in our gorgeous new space at Uptown Shopping Centre. It's our new bricks and mortar location here in Victoria, as WELL as the new home for our online fulfillment.

For those of you who don't know, it's been a long journey of pure entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to get this lil' business grown up enough to move to its new home here at Uptown. You can read a bit about that journey here.  

So here we are, two months in. We're FILLED with gratitude, fuelled by Discovery Coffee to get our tasks all done to get settled, and the thing we are realizing? We are still getting asked the same questions each week about our new space. You guys all care so dang much and we are so grateful for that!

So - here is a great lil' FAQ! The new store equals new opportunities, and we’re here to let you in on all our little secrets and perks that come with our new opening at Uptown Shopping Centre Victoria, located at #109 - 3531 Uptown Boulevard (Beside The Children's Place). 

5 Things To Know About Our New Store:

1. We Now Have Free Parking!!! 

Just about daily, we'd have someone come into our original little beauty bar that was downtown, expressing the perils of finding a parking spot in downtown Victoria. So ladies and gents - we welcome you to the luxuries of 5 floors of free Uptown parking - YAY!!! And if you are one of our customers who find it stressful to figure out where the best (and most available) spots are that are closest to our store - let us tell you this. We skip parking on the boulevard and choose underground for the most convenience. Here's our suggested route of where to park with ease:

a) Turn into Uptown’s underground parking from Saanich Rd.

b) Follow the signs towards Best Buy, and park underground by the Best Buy signs.

c) Hop on the escalator up and follow the sidewalk right four doors down to our new headquarters. 

2. We Have Moved. 

Aka...not opened a second location, as our original downtown store is closed. We get asked this a LOT. Some of you may have been confused as we DID have a pop-up shop at Uptown at Christmas. But, our downtown location is permanently closed. To continue to provide a high quality of service for all our amazing customers, we decided we could no longer operate out of our tiny 8x8 square foot space; we’d definitely outgrown it!! But don’t worry, we certainly haven’t forgotten all our loyal downtown shoppers who’d pop by on their lunch breaks to pick up a goodie or two. We got you boo! Check out point #3

3. We now offer FREE In-Store Pickup at TWO locations!! 

For people on a mission, simply order online from your jammies (or work desk...ahem...) and select one of TWO in-store pick up options.

Option one - Uptown (at our new store).

Option two - Downtown (at The Good Planet Company).

Our good friends at The Good Planet Company have graciously offered to house a space for FREE IN STORE PICKUPS DOWNTOWN - yay!! This is on a schedule, so here is how that works:

a) Fill your cart

b) Select 'in-store pickup downtown' at checkout, and any orders placed before 6 pm Tuesday night will arrive downtown for 12 pm & onwards on Thursday. We’ll also send you a little heads up when its arrived, we got your back! 

Shopping online and selecting in-store pickup is quick and easy! Let us wrap your favourites up and have them ready to head off to their new home with you! 

4. We Have New Extended Hours!

Our newly extended hours give you extra time to pop by after work and check out all of our new goodies (ooops, secret spilled!) - Yes, our new store provides us the opportunity to give you all the best new green beauty goodies! Wednesday to Friday 10am-8pm
Saturday 10am-6pm
Sunday 11am-5pm

5. Services Coming Soon

You asked, and we replied - NEW makeup services will be launching this summer! This spring our team of Beauty Realists is growing, and we’re working away to provide super fun new services that you and all your girlfriends can enjoy together. Of course, we are still offering our coveted Make The Switch appointments as well - I mean, would we really be The Green Kiss if we didn’t offer those?!?
