Karité was created out of the desire of three sisters who were searching for a natural skin moisturizer that compared to the raw, unrefined shea butter they grew up with in Ghana, West Africa. Finding no match, they turned to the traditional formula. Karité’s 100% all-natural, antioxidant-rich products feature sustainably sourced pure ingredients that create the perfect lightweight, non-greasy moisturizers which soothe even the most sensitive skin types. Free from dyes, silicones, artificial fragrances and partnered with women-run farming co-ops in northern Ghana.
